President’s Report –For Week Ending January 22nd 2016

Thank you to Lee and Bob for hosting our social evening last Friday at their home. An enjoyable and convivial time was had by all who attended. BBQ at Fairy Meadow

Thanks to Brian Ashe, Betsy Lilley , Norm Miller along with Di North, Hubby David ,  and Tony McAdam who manned the 1st of our Monthly BBQ’s at Woolworths Fairy Meadow  last Saturday from 10am-2pm . Despite a sumptuous menu of Steaks, eggs, Bacon and sausages, the humble ‘sausage sandwich’ proved the most popular. The Lord Mayor’s Picnic

 Rowan and Di had a great morning reading to children at the Lord Mayor’s Picnic in McCabe Park on Sunday 25th October. Rowan was honing his skills to become a great granddad! We were representing the Illawarra Literacy Project by assisting at the Paint the Gong Read tent. Community Service Award for 2015

Vi Regal is not a member of our Rotary Club, yet we see her every year helping us and working very hard at our annual Race Day and also at our Swing into Wings Dinner. Vi is on the Executive of the Shellharbour Lions Club. Vi has been a regular volunteer at Vinnies Welfare one day a week.
