On a warm sticky afternoon in Wollongong, a dedicated group of Sunrise Members re enacted the daily march from the Court House to the Battery Relive the magical moments by viewing the video kindly created by Roberta Janssen. The day comprises enjoying the races, a sumptuous meal and entertainment provided by Rotary. The event has a reputation of being a fun day which is great value for money.

A powerful team braved the rain on Mt Keira to help with Cleanup Australia Day on Sunday 5th March
We cleaned up at the summit lookout, above the hairpin bend, and at Robertsons lookout.
Thanks to the efforts of Brian Ashe, the Australia Day March went off with a (simulated) bang☺ Also thankyou to The Illawarra Pipe Band, Brigadier Bryce Fraser Rtd and the Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery and of course the marchers. This year a special thanks to the crowd as the gun firing wouldn’t have been the same without them

A most successful day at Kembla Grange Race Day started out as a concern as it rained during the early hours of the approaching covered sunrise. As morning flourished the rain subsided, clouds cleared away and beautiful sunshine became part of the day. Kembla Grange Race Course was beautifully presented.
