Presidents report – 11th to 18th December

Our family Christmas party was special, as we had family and friends there to celebrate with us.  It was fantastic to have our husbands and wives, mothers and for some their grand children come and enjoy the celebration of Christmas with us Rotarians. I presented the notion of being ‘on Santa’s team’ as we Rotarians think about bringing  hope, joy and peace to those within our community that have little.  This notion is about Santa…

President’s report for Meeting 2 December

Race Day Wash up The meeting was held at Elaine and Peter De Vries home and seven Rotarians plus two non Rotarians were present.  It was reported that we have raised an estimated $18,000 which is a success.  Discussion topics were: Sponsorship, we had fewer sponsors this year. Presidents report – 16th to 22nd October 2016

Welcome to this week’s Presidents report.  The membership committee met Tuesday 18th at Rowan and Theresa’s home.  Great night, as we started with a BBQ and a good lively discussion.  Great ideas led to three actions to take place. First, to seek testimonials from those we sponsor and add to our face book and web page.  Testimonials are a driving force behind people’s decision making.  Secondly, to make an online poll on how often we…
