Saturday was our first Bunnings BBQ with members on hand to begin. We started selling at about 8.30am and went until about 4.15pm. The whole day raised about $2,300, with close to $1,650 clear profit. Raffle ticket sales at the Sausage sizzle were just over $1,000.

The annual Australia Day March at the Smith’s Hill Fort is approaching but are you aware of the history?
The meeting took place after the AGM. The highlight was the “goodies” auction that Brian conducted with aplomb
David Swan has been elected as the Returning Officer for our Annual General meeting so that all nominations should be sent to him directly. David will also run the election of office bearers on the day. Please support your club by thinking about what you might do. The election is 8 December, next meeting so time is ticking away.
Thanks very much to grant and linda sefton, alan and janelle smith, david martin, theresa lythgo, lee furness and Bob Laing – who came with me to orange to help my dads rotary club -North Orange Rotary club – run one of the food stalls at the ORANGE FIELD DAYS. Our help was much appreciated and together we raised over $19k. thanks also to the Fogartys, Davisons, Rawsthornes and Driscolls for billeting the visitors! …
Brian welcomed attendees and our guest speaker to the meeting. After initial pleasantries the group enjoyed fellowship over breakfast.
Our Guest Speaker was Siobhan Christian from WIRES Illawarra. Siobhan is the Education Officer for the local WIRES, and is passionate about the care of all animals , especially our native species
