On a sad note Elaine Hart mentioned that Janice Grey had lost her father in the early hours of Friday morning. We extend our condolences from the club to Janice & Rhys.

Raffle at the end of the meeting of $246 was won by one Stephen Swan.

After we congratulated SS, Ian Farghar sitting next to SS commented that he felt like an ugly duckling with a table of swans (boom boom!).

After our most successful start at the Lifeline Book Fair we have been graciously invited by Elaine & Peter DeVries to attend Kembla Grange Race Course.

Dress code: Glamorous to very smart casual.

Activities include 100 club, wine frig, Sapphire Gin & Chivas Regal coin toss.

Also wonderful silent auction.

May 2018 – Wings Over Illawarra (Tony McAdam) is going to be a huge tribute to QANTAS 747 City of Canberra, call sign VHOJA.

Both crews from the first 1989 flight & the last flight which brought the plane to Wollongong will be attending.
