Peter Rixon spoke of the success of the “Murder Mystery Night” held by Interact Club of St Mary’s. There were not as many people but this was by choice of the Club. $517.00 was raised and then our club put another $200.00 towards that A very successful night.

Tony has sent an email about a Wine Tour of the South Coast that he thought people might enjoy. A form was circulated for members to show their interested. Cost was about $40.00 to have a bus and driver for the day.

Peter thanked Michael Hough for his efforts in “Wings over Illawarra” and then Michael thanked our club for both the support and the organisation of “Swing into Wings” Michael informed us that over 30,000 people attended over the weekend. In dollar terms an average of $80.00 is spent by each person which means an injection of $2.4 million into the region. Michael also mentioned the support from the Defence Forces, especially pilots, which was of benefit to all in that we could speak to these people in a relaxed setting, and they could speak to us. This does not happen very often at all.

Christian thanked Christian and gave him a small token of thanks

Peter also won the raffle and received a bottle of wine
